Ginger (Vodka) Bread Man

A quick, nice & COLD Vodka based drink on a hot afternoon.

Ingredients :
Vodka (Smirnoff) : 30 / 60 ml
Ginger: A small piece (5 gms)
Mint Leaves: A few mint leaves
Tequila (Olmeca) : 15 / 30 ml
Ginger Ale (Schweppes): 1 Can
Mint Mixer (Monin Mint Mojito):15 / 30 ml

I must admit, that I stole the inspiration from this drink from a place that had something similar in RUM.

So here is how you go about it.

Take Ginger & mint leaves ... mash them up in small bowel to get the Ginger juices mix well with the Mint smell & add it to the Shaker.
Add vodka (30 - 60 ml depending on if you want a stiff drink or not).

Add (15 -30 ml) of Tequila to the shaker & the mint mixer (15 - 30 ml)

Add ICE to you Shaker.

Mix well

Add a Lot of ICE to your glass.

Now if you like your drink dirty (want to get small piece of ginger in your drink) then strain with the shaker strainer only, otherwise strain with a fine sieve .. either way make sure that there is Mint Leaves....

Top it off with Ginger Ale for additional taste..

Pro tip: Don't add too much Mint Mojito ... that ruins the taste .. don't make it too sweet .... also if you want to get more ginger .. that's fine ... but don't make it too dirty ... too much ginger particles/pieces in the drink is going to ruin your experience.
